I shared this washi tape project at The CSI Project last week and I wanted to repost it here for those that missed it.
I'm sharing a simple washi tape project with you today: a washi tape dry erase board.
This project is not only simple but it's super cost effective. I used an old frame I had in the garage, some leftover spray paint, and two partial rolls of washi tape. If you don't have a stash of junk treasures like I do, you could always hit up a thrift store for a cheap frame.
I spray painted my frame with a glossy pink paint that coordinated well with the washi tape I chose. I gave it a number of coats to make sure I had good coverage.
I used the old photo that was in the frame, turned it over {so the photo wouldn't show through the somewhat translucent washi tape}, and covered it with strips of washi tape. I love that these two washi tapes have different widths.
Once my frame was dry, I popped the washi tape-covered paper behind the glass ...
... and that's it: a super cute dry erase board. Wouldn't that be a fun and simple teacher appreciation gift? Or a Christmas gift?
I'd love to hear if you make one!
Downtown Tape provided the washi tape for this project but all opinions are my own.

That looks so easy to do Randi! Great rainy day project for me. Have a great week! Stacie xo
