Kidecals {and a Giveaway}

Have you heard of Kidecals?  If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen the happy package I received the other day {I love mail and I especially love mail in pretty packaging}.  Kidecals sent me cute personalized labels for Tate.  And I'm completely impressed with them!

I had a great time looking through the website and a terrible time deciding what to order.  The labels are all so cute!  Kidecals has monograms ...

Back to Basics :: How to Make Bubbles

It's time for this month's Back to Basics post.  Each month, I'm sharing a traditional game or activity ... the kind that gets the kids unplugged and encourages them to get outside and wear off some energy.

Kids of all ages love to play with bubbles so this month I'm sharing a recipe for homemade bubble solution and some creative ideas for homemade wands.  These wands are simple enough for the kids to make themselves ... or you can spend some time together, making wands and blowing bubbles.  Isn't that a great way to spend a summer afternoon?

How To Make A Doily Bowl

I'm sharing an Anthropologie-inspired craft with you today: a bowl made from a doily.  I first saw this idea in an Anthropologie catalog and I knew it would be simple to make.  And the best part of this doily bowl?  It can be made in just a few minutes.
