You've seen Luke's robot costume and Tate's flower pot ... today it's Lila's turn.
Lila was a paper doll this year, an idea that came from FamilyFun magazine.
I changed things a bit from the original tutorial. I made the entire costume from foam board rather than poster board. It just seemed like a better, sturdier way to go. I used the templates provided but altered the sizing just a bit. And not enough, as you can see ... although I think she looks cute and whimsical even with the too-short skirt. To attach the costume to Lila I just glued ribbon on the back of the shirt and skirt and tied it around her. The black details are drawn on with a Sharpie and the purple is a watered-down acrylic paint that I slapped on.

I love it! I especially love that you made such unique costumes for each kid!
