Disappearing Cars

Luke's afternoon activity didn't last long but it provided lots of entertainment. I froze ice cars (using a Williams-Sonoma car cake/muffin pan) and we took them outside to race down the driveway. They slid well on their wet, icy tires and lasted for about twenty minutes (getting smaller by the second) ... we were fortunate the afternoon wasn't terribly hot so the cars held up a bit longer than expected.
Luke had lots of fun with his slippery vehicles ... we'll probably play with ice cars many more times this summer.
