When I shared my curbside dresser makeover, I had a number of comments and emails from people wanting to see a little more of the vintage linen goodness inside those drawers.
Three of the pale yellow drawers are filled with old treasures. Some hold crocheted doilies, storebought and handmade ...
... cloth napkins with crocheted edges ...
... table runners with a monogram stitched on by hand ...
... and piles of lace, crocheted, and linen table cloths and runners.
Tucked in among the vintage goodness is an envelope ...
... with a letter written by my aunt. It explains where each piece came from, with an appropriate amount of family nonsense thrown in. I'm so glad I've kept this letter over the years ... what a gem of family history.

Love the linens but that letter in her pretty penmanship is PRICELESS!
ReplyDeleteI love anything vintage. Glad I am not the only one. I try to collect pieces here and there. You never see anyone write in cursive any more. I miss that.
