Wrapping Up July

I kind of hate saying goodbye to July.  It means it's time to dive into the back to school preparations and start saying goodbye to summer.  I plan to milk August for all it's worth.

But first, a peek at July.  In July, I sewed a cute little tooth fairy doll, brewed some peach basil iced tea, completed a room makeover for my little girls {with personalized garlands and a built-in wall desk}, restored a vintage wagon, knit a cowl, sewed and personalized soccer bags for Luke and Lila, made some dropcloth pillows {and embellished them}, served a layered drink for Canada Day, and spent a week on the beach.

Happy August, everyone!

  1. I'm kind of sad that August is here too - even though I love the fall season, there's something about the summer to fall transition that makes me sad.

  2. What a great month you had! You are very productive. I need to work on a better routine so I can have more time for fun things.

Are you going to chic-fil-a today? If you go, maybe you should wear your riot gear!!
