My Sears Grilling class has come to an end. This is the final week and my final post.
It's been such a helpful course and I've learned a lot about lighting, staging, and angles in photography in such a short time. I hope you've noticed improvements in my photos.
This week our assignment was simply to share a portfolio of our favorite photos. I went back and looked at all of the photos I took for this class and I saw a definite progression over the weeks.
I chose these photos for my final portfolio because I felt like they really captured what I wanted: for the food to look appealing and inviting, for the lighting to be natural, and for the colors to look vivid but real.
I'm so thankful that this class gave me the kickstart that I needed and I'm looking forward to continuing my photography learning curve and translating these lessons into better photography of my craft and DIY projects.

ReplyDeleteDrooling, drooling, stomach rumbling... The food is beyond appealing... Hmm, maybe I need a class like that one just so I can make all the food before I photograph it:)
