Cookie of the Month :: Root Beer Cookies

It's Cookie of the Month time.  And I realized there may be a reason why I had to force myself to bake cookies every month.  It's not totally my thing.  I'd rather knit or sew and just stick with plain jane chocolate chips if I'm going to bake.  Or have Kennedy make something.  {smile}

But a promise is a promise so the kids got their cookies.  This month I made Root Beer Cookies.

They have a very unique, fully root beer flavor and they were a fun change for the kids.  For the full recipe, I'll direct you to the source: Silver Boxes.

Do you bake cookies regularly?  What's your favorite kind?

  1. They look like mini cakes, don't they? My kids do love root-beer. I usually only bake cookies at Christmas (Ginger, shortbread, and chocolate crinkle)or occasionally some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for John to stick in the office at work. Our kids only get sweets once a week. They would view the uneaten cookies as just plain cruel!

    I have the best recipe for ginger cookies. They are so soft and delicious. I'll share if you don't have one already.
