Summer days are quickly coming to an end. Just a few more weeks till the kids head back to school.
And I have to admit, we haven't been making the best progress on our summer wish lists. They've been a lot more wish than actuality. It has been a very relaxing summer though ... and after a crazy school year, that was much-needed. We've done lots of backyard swimming, the kids hunt bugs and lizards all day long, we spent a week at the beach, and they've been playing on the new swing.
But I thought I'd give you a little update on the lists anyway.
We completed nine things on the family list. Ahem. Out of twenty-five. Not exactly great statistics but I'm holding out hope that we'll sneak in eight other activities. I better get hopping, huh?
My Mommy wish list has fared a bit better ... if you don't count the fact that I haven't done an ounce of painting.
Or the fact that I can no longer have coffee outside in the mornings. It's 108 so I've shown myself a little list mercy. The time set aside for knitting, scrapbooking, and sewing has really paid off though and I'm going to keep that going in the fall.

If you like what you see, would you consider following me?

We have never finished a summer bucket list, but have had a lot of fun trying! It sounds like you've had a fun summer too.
