Swimming in Polka Dots {grUVywear}

Living in Texas, we do a lot of swimming.  Hardly a summer day goes by that we don't end up in our pool. It's really the best way to beat the hundred degree days.

When I was offered the chance to review a grUVywear swimsuit, I couldn't resist.  I always worry about the effects of the sun on my fair-skinned kiddos, especially since my experience with skin cancer a couple of years ago.  Did you know that two early sunburns can increase the risk of skin cancer later in life?

GrUVywear sent me a super cute polka dot suit for Tate that includes a short-sleeved swimshirt and a skort.  The swimwear is designed to leave less skin exposed and provides a UPF of 50+, blocking 97.5% of the sun's harmful UV rays.  Besides being super cute, I love that it offers such great protection for my little one.

Tate loves the cute and colorful style of her new swimsuit and I do too.  The bright colors make her easy to spot in the pool, something that's obviously very important to me.

We're heading to the beach later this summer and I'm so happy that Tate will have some extra UV protection while we're out in the sun for long periods of time.

Would you like a grUVywear swimsuit?  Until July 15th, grUVywear is offering my readers a 15% discount.  Just go to the grUVywear website and enter code SAVE1541.

I received a complimentary outfit from grUVywear in exchange for this post.  All opinions are my own.

  1. It's a great idea. Sun burns can happen so quickly. I like the shorts and skirt selections.
