One of my favorite touches in Lila and Tate's room makeover are the little garlands above their beds. I was inspired by this but decided to take the easy route and make it a no sew project.
Using a cute font, I printed out the girls' names and then cut the letters from coordinating fabric I had in my stash. To give the letters some body and stability, I applied fusible fleece to the back. I used a glue gun to attach the letters to ribbon and hung them up on the wall.
I think they look super cute and I love that they were so easy to make.
I hope you'll pop back tomorrow for the final post about this little room makeover!

They are adorable! I have to do this for my girls. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the whole thing! I love anything that says "ne sew". I was just at Ikea and saw a sewing machine for $60 and my husband wanted to buy it! Ack. I firmly told him that I don't sew, I don't even iron, so let's keep our diying to areas outside of fabric:) But I could do this....
