A Knit Cowl

I love knitting.  It might be my favorite way to relax, especially in the evening.

Since I hadn't been doing much knitting, my summer wish list included spending at least an hour knitting every week {which has quickly turned into far more than an hour most weeks}.

The first project completed was this knit cowl {pattern found here}, a request from one of my dearest childhood friends.

It's knit in the round so it knit up quickly.  It's knit completely in seed stitch which gives it such great texture and stability.  And since it'll be worn during harsh Canadian winters, I hope it'll also be really warm!

  1. This is beautiful. I do not knit but I have a friend that does and I am sending her this post because this is EXACTLY what I think she should make as Christmas gifts. Thanks so much for sharing!
