I had so much fun co-hosting Ginger's {wow me} wednesday party! The links were fantastic and it was such a great chance to check out some new blogs. I tried to visit every single link and if I didn't have to feed my kids I would have made it. I did make it through a lot of links and thought I'd share a handful of my favorites with you.
This won't surprise you but I adore this orange teen room makeover from It All Started with Paint. The combination of orange, black, and grey is fantastic, and the room has so many great details. I was sold when I saw the vivid stripes.
I also love this alphabet bag idea from My Raina Sunshine. I pinned it and plan to make it for Tate. I love simple, unplugged toys that teach.
This chevron quilt from Stars & Sunshine was a wedding gift. If I could figure out how to leave a comment {why do I require a log in with Word Press?}, I'd tell Julia how much I love it. It's not only beautiful but what a sentimental, heartfelt gift to give and receive.
I always love a good handknit project and this seed stitch rug from A Crafty House is great! It got pinned on my board and I'm definitely making one for some room in the house.
I think this paint swatch clock from A Little Something in the Meantime {cut with a Silhouette} would make a fun clock for my gameroom. I love the ombre look Claire went for with the numbers. Plus, Claire's Canadian so I felt a bond.
This shabby chic birthday party from Design, Dining, and Diapers is beautiful. It has so many pretty details that could be incorporated into any party or shower. I love the fabric backdrop!
And last but not least, this vintage desk makeover from Whimsical Perspective is so simple and so cute. I've never met a vintage desk I didn't like. This desk inspired me and I might do a little makeover with the ones we have around the house.

Thank you for the feature. I have a soft spot for school desks. I am a First Grade Teacher by day and blogger/painter/crafter by night. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Randi,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for letting me know that my clock was featured! Very exciting :) I think this is my favourite blog project so far since it incorporated two of my crafting loves - paint chips and my Silhouette.
Happy Easter!

Randi,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring my son's room! If only he knew that I've splashed his private teen space all over the blog world! Tee hee!

So thank you again and wishing you and your family a very happy Easter weekend!
:)
Linda

ReplyDeleteOh I loved the orange teenager room makeover. Jacob loves orange, so I thought it might go! His is orange and lime green though and I don't think he wants to part with the green yet :)
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful features! I can't thank you enough for helping me celebrate! You are awesome, and it was so much fun! Hope you are off to a great week! :)
