Bubbles

Bubbles were on the agenda today. We mixed up a bowl full of homemade bubble solution (the recipe for one batch of solution is 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of glycerin), dug out every bubble-blowing tool we could find (the kids even tried dipping Silly Bandz into the bubble solution), and headed outside. Bubbles are definitely a fun-for-all-ages activity.

Elijah mastered the art of blowing bubbles using only his fingers.

Tate watched the bubbles blow by and land on her blanket, chewed on a bubble stick, and ate grass.

I love this picture because you can see the kids' reflections in the giant bubble.

We had so much fun that I think bubbles will be on the agenda again soon.

  2. Elijah's pretty amazing to blow bubbles with only his hand.

I love the reflection of the kids in the big bubble too. I don't know if I would have noticed it without you pointing it out. Thanks.

  3. When you do the bubbles again, run across the street and ask Lee if you can borrow her "Bubble Thing" the kids will love it. Give us a call and Brett will come join!
