Homemade Playdough

This morning we experimented with the crockpot playdough recipe from A Year of CrockPotting. Luke and Lila love to cook and had lots of fun stirring the ingredients in the crockpot. They also sampled most of them. "Nasty" was Luke's verdict on taste.
We started early because the recipe said it could take up to two hours. We must have a turbo-charged crockpot because it appeared done at the first 30 minute check. Smooth, non-sticky playdough - definitely something I'd make again.

  1. Fantastic idea! You're inspiring me again to be crafty with my kids. Nathan LOOOOOVES playdough, so this will be a fun summer craft!

I am printing this recipe (and blog address) in our MOPS newsletter this week. Thanks!
